Another Classic I Haven't Seen Yet #9 - Rear Window (1954)

“Every time a holed-up photographer creeps on their neighbor, a murder case is miraculously solved”

I guess I’m leaning into the skid at this point with Hitchcock. I don’t know what I like more about this film – the beautifully crafted Hitchcock suspense, Grace Kelly, or the unintentional comedy with the idea that being a nebshit neighbor would actually pay off in a murder case.

Most of the movie, I was expecting Jimmy Stewart to either dive into delusional insanity or end up in jail unaware he was infringing on people’s privacy.

If the movie was made nowadays, those are two likely paths the plot would take. Lol.
